Tenor 4-String 110th Anniversary Maile Commemorative Ukulele

Introducing the Kamaka Hawaii 110th Anniversary Maile Commemorative Ukulele—created to honor a legacy that began in 1916 and continues four generations later.

Inspired by maile, a symbol of honor, respect, and enduring connection, this extraordinary instrument celebrates the craftsmanship, culture, and aloha that have defined Kamaka for 110 years.

Every detail has been thoughtfully designed and meticulously handcrafted—from the carefully selected koa and intricate inlay work to the original artwork created in collaboration with JT Ojerio of Aloha de Mele, whose design carries the symbolism of the maile throughout the commemorative collection. Every maile ukulele is individually numbered and comes with a Certificate of Authenticity.

The Tenor 4-String ukulele is the most popular ukulele among our Kamaka artists and entertainers. The larger body size means the volume of the ukulele is louder and the longer scale length results in greater versatility, allowing the performer to play all the way up to the sound hole while still resonating a full, round sound and tone. The larger figure eight body size is also the ideal platform for a variety of unique customizations including different wood options and other features resulting in beautiful new vibrations and tone.

Every Kamaka ukulele comes with a free Kamaka-branded ukulele case that was designed specifically for the exact ukulele model to match the instrument’s body size and length. The vinyl-wrapped, plywood hard case features a soft velvet lining that is padded around the back of the instrument with a protective, arched top cover that ensures the instrument fits snugly and securely when closed. The custom ukulele case also features a convenient compartment to hold tuners, polishing cloths and other accessories.
