Schools and
Non-Profit Organizations
Kamaka Hawaii donates ukuleles to local non-profit organizations for community fundraising and offers discounted ukuleles to school music programs. We provide free demonstrations and presentations to civic groups, senior citizens and other charitable organizations about Kamaka ukuleles and the history of ukuleles in Hawaii.
We also offer free Kamaka Hawaii Factory Tours on a regular basis to elementary school students and the general public. These community outreach efforts provide a valuable educational experience for all ages, while helping to continue the legacy of the ukulele in Hawaii, a beloved and integral part of Hawaiian culture.

Kamaka featured artist Taimane Gardner, Sam Kamaka, Jr. and ukulele virtuoso Jake Shimabukuro at the Hawaii State Public Library in Honolulu.

Jake Shimabukuro performs at a Hawaii library in celebration of his Music For Life Foundation’s partnership with Kamaka Hawaii in support of the ukulele lending program at all Hawaii State public libraries.
Hawaii State
Public Library System
In partnership with internationally renowned musician Jake Shimabukuro’s Music For Life Foundation, Kamaka Hawaii donated ukuleles to the Hawaii State Public Library System’s Ukulele Lending program where public library patrons are able to borrow a ukulele free of charge from one of the 51 state library branches. We are proud to support the Music For Life Foundation’s goal of making music education accessible to students and families throughout Hawaii, and provide avenues for music learning that may not be offered at area schools affected by cutbacks to art and music programs.
